About Rohit Bhargava

My journey has been deeply shaped by my grandfather — who represented India in wrestling at the 1948 London Olympics. His discipline, determination, and fearless ability to challenge himself have inspired me to seek out challenges of my own especially ones that push me to think bigger and deliver meaningful impact.~ I’ve carried that mindset through roles at Scotiabank, Ernst & Young and Deloitte, where I developed a love for solving complex problems at the intersection of data, finance and strategy. Whether it was streamlining reporting systems, improving compliance processes or uncovering insights hidden in massive datasets, I’ve always been driven by one goal - turning complexity into clarity so teams can make better decisions. Even in creative spaces like marketing at University of Toronto Press and Provana, I naturally gravitated toward the analytical side — building performance dashboards, evaluating campaign ROI and helping shape business strategies through insights.~ Outside of work, I channel the same curiosity and drive into pursuits that challenge me in different ways. Theatre has been a passion of mine - I’ve acted in three plays and had the opportunity to direct one, exploring the sensitive issue of marital domestic violence. That experience taught me how stories can move people, spark conversation and inspire change. Sports have been just as formative; being named “Best Athlete” in high school for excelling in cricket, football, tennis, and track & field didn’t just fuel my love for competition — it instilled teamwork, resilience, and leadership, lessons I carry into every project and collaboration I undertake.~ At my core, I’m curious, collaborative, and motivated by the thrill of tackling challenges that matter.
