About Rohit Borachate

Starting my career as a mechanical engineer, I was always drawn to the creative aspect of problem-solving. Although engineering and design share a common goal of addressing users' needs, they have significant differences. Engineering is more focused on the machine, while design is focused on creating a user-oriented experience. As an industrial Designer, I was able to transition easily from mechanical engineering, given my past experience with tangible products. However, it wasn't until I started exploring interaction design that I discovered my true passion. Interaction design is all about creating an experience for users that enables them to achieve their goals by making the technical aspects of technology accessible and understandable. In my opinion, research is the most crucial part of any design process. Rather than making assumptions, it is essential to empathize with the user and understand their actual needs. I am a curious, self-driven product designer with a passion for advocating for UX design in emerging technologies, social good, and all areas of work. My primary goal is to provide users with a richly engaging and innovative experience. I am committed to facilitating design education and engaging diverse communities. In all of my projects, I strive to facilitate the relationship between people and the interactive products they use, while taking into account business goals and technical constraints. I am personally aware of the impact our solutions have on people's lives, which is why I always strive to create a seamless and enjoyable experience. Software Skills - Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Rhino 3D, Keyshot, Sketchbook Pro, etc. for creating wireframes, prototypes, visual assets, 3D modeling, rendering, and graphic design. Analog Skills - Skilled in User Research & Synthesis, Insight Mining, Information Architecture, User flows, Mockups, Wireframing, Prototyping, Visual Communication & UI, Usability Testing, Analog & Digital Sketching, 3D Modeling, Rendering, Physical Prototyping, etc. to guide the design process and create innovative, user-centered solutions.
