About Rohit Malik

A focused problem solver apt at leveraging both People and Technology, and has always led from the front. A successful background in organizations in Financial Services (GE-SBI Cards, ICICI Prudential & Bharti Axa Life), Travel, Hospitality and Direct Selling (Mahindra Holidays): Setting up and managing multi distribution business, developing strategies for long term, achieving results and transforming business. More than 24 years of progressive experience in organizations that went on to be market leader in the Industry, holding senior management positions for last 13 years and CXO position for last 10 years (with Mahindra Holidays). Last 6 years has been particularly interesting due to nature of work done around business transformation with the objective of re-defining the business and re-imagine the core offering. This includes, creating new products, setting up data science team, evaluating new lines of business, leading execution based cross functional projects with digital as the theme and transforming some of the key consumer experience journeys. All this leading to higher sales, revenues, margins and cash generation. I am also on the advisory board of a mahindra holidays invested company, XOXOday for past 5 years, helping navigate the start-up through the journey. It is at 8X GMV this year from the time we invested (5 years ago).
