About Rohit Manjunath

I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Computer Science at Purdue University. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and Data Science in Statistics from Rutgers University. I have had past internship experiences in machine learning, full-stack development, and front-end development. Additionally, I have research experience in machine learning coupled with Item Response Theory(at Rutgers) and database query analysis(at Purdue). I am actively looking for internship experiences for Summer 2025. I have experience working with- Javascript, React, React-Redux, Node.js, Typescript, Jest - Python, R, Django, Flask, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV, Scipy - Docker, AWS, CI/CD, Apache, Git, Jira - SQL, MongoDB, Neo4j - PHP, CodeIgniter Additionally, I have taken advanced courses at Purdue and Rutgers, such as Data Communication and Computer Network, Data Mining, Distributed Systems, Machine Learning Principles, Regression Methods, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Robotics, and Experimental Design. These courses have also given me experience working with C++ and Java. I have implemented Neural Networks, Naive Bayes Classifier, K-NN, and more from scratch through projects. I have also implemented Heuristic A* search, Reinforcement Learning Models, and Websockets. Furthermore, I have gained leadership experience through my research experience at Rutgers University, where I managed a group of 5 undergraduate students to research IRT and develop a web dashboard. I actively used an agile methodology environment as a scum master to improve efficiency.
