About Rohit Philip

With over 11 years of work experience in multiple sectors across Engineering & Development Business Development and Management Consulting I am currently the Lead Consultant for the KMTC program since its initiation in 2019 and have been Consultant (Strategy & Planning) at Kerala Development & Innovation Strategic Council (KDISC) prior to this. In my current role I support the development and implementation of policies programs and projects that promote Medical Devices / Medical Technology research innovation development entrepreneurship and industry in Kerala. I also contribute to the Strategy & Planning Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement of and for the Kerala MedTech Ecosystem KMTC and its partners. I have worked in the Power sector with a reputed German MNC where I handled technical engineering projects and led Marketing and Sales efforts for both products and services. With a strong belief that the future belongs to high technology innovations and passionate entrepreneurs I am also familiar with the vibrant start-up ecosystem in India and have consulted in strategy and growth for a few ventures. I have assisted in exploratory exercises for establishing multilateral Technology partnerships aimed at building long-term competitive advantage. I am an Electrical & Electronics Engineer and completed MBA in 2018 from the two-year full time Post- Graduate Program (PGP) of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore.
