About Rohit Sammeta

As a student, I was always fascinated by the enormous structures which surround us in my daily life. This fascination guided me towards civil engineering. This helped to put my knowledge and my passion into contributing to creation and innovation. To quench my thirst for a superior understanding of the inner working of buildings. I used to go through many books and keep myself self-updated with the latest methods in civil structures. I have a keen interest in physics and reasoning. This led me to pursue my future in the field of science. I have always excelled in excellent analytical and reasoning skills along with excellence in quantitative and qualitative aptitude. During my time at SRM Institute of Science and Technology I started to create models from my first year of engineering which helped me to be selected in the ‘3rd Inter -Academia Asia Conference – 2016’ and demonstrated my model of renewable energy. Later I actively participated in many conferences which allowed me to gain knowledge of the present industry requirement in the civil industry. I sharpened my skills by indulging myself in the national-level fest. This helped me to indulge with like-minded people. I have always been enthusiastic about applying my theoretical knowledge in practical applications. which influenced me to associate myself to do three internships. These internships educated me about the industry requirements. This helped me to put my knowledge into practice and learn new things from industry professionals. I keep cultivating a proficient level of skills in many softwares such as and not limited to Autodesk CAD, STAAD, SAP, Autodesk Revit and Insight. I always loved experimenting and creating new models to implement my skills practically. These attributes helped me to take innovative topics for the research paper “Comparison of Energy Analysis in a Residential Building Using Building Information Modeling”. I am curious to solve complex and interacted business problems. Creating new business opportunities. I love to read and learn new things every day. I have a great enthusiasm for solving puzzles and complex situations that require an articulate and clear approach to solving them. I love traveling, getting new experiences and meeting new people, and listening to their experiences to get new perspectives on the world.
