I believe education must be transformative—an experience that empowers learners, educators, and communities to thrive in a rapidly changing world. As School Director at Pathways School Gurgaon, I bring over 30 years of leadership in international education, strategy, and school transformation. From my early years as an Army officer and educator at The Doon School, to leading Oakridge International School Hyderabad as Principal, and now helming one of India’s leading IB World Schools, my journey has been defined by values-based leadership and a commitment to excellence. At Pathways, I have driven initiatives that positioned the school on the global stage with being ranked number 1 in India by Education world, including organizing the first Asia Pacific Festival of Hope with the IB Director General and hosting the 7th PAN India & South Asia IB Heads Conference. These milestones reflect my focus on creating platforms for innovation, dialogue, and global citizenship. My contributions have been recognized with honors such as the India’s Greatest Leaders Award by Asia One, National Leadership Award by School Stars, Global Edu ICON, Future 50 High Impact Leader, and the 2023 NEASC Service Award for service to international education. Beyond institutional leadership, I actively shape educational policy and quality assurance as President and Chair (North) of the Association of Heads of IB World Schools in India and South Asia, Visiting Team Leader,Evaluation Leader and Programme Leader for IB and evaluator for CIS and NEASC. My credentials include International Maxwell Leadership Certification for Coaching, advanced training from the Haggai Institute, and multiple IB leadership authorizations, reinforcing my lifelong commitment to coaching, mentorship and growth. Education, as I envision it, goes beyond compliance and rankings—it is about igniting purpose, nurturing resilience, and cultivating future-ready citizens. Whether guiding teachers, engaging stakeholders, or shaping global partnerships, I remain passionate about building inclusive learning communities that are mission-driven, values-centered, and globally connected.
