About Roisin Hurst

I have over 30 years' experience working in the voluntary and education sectors in stakeholder management roles. I am an experienced senior manager - developing strategy, managing budgets and projects, as well as developing and line-managing staff. I worked previously as a Development Officer at Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations' Council where I supported a number of different projects in relation to older people and community mental health. During this time I was also seconded to Voluntary Health Scotland to facilitate the development of a new network for Community Link Workers in primary care settings in Scotland. Prior to that, I spent 5 years as Partnership Manager for the Home Energy Scotland Advice Centre in south east Scotland where I was responsible for developing and managing the delivery of the Centre’s partnership strategy to support its ambitious annual household targets. I built effective relationships and managed projects with a wide range of stakeholders including the NHS, local authorities, housing associations, third sector and community organisations.
