I am a Solicitor originally from Ireland, I moved to London at 18 to come to university. I qualified as a solicitor in 1987. I worked and trained for 7 years as a solicitor and partner in an inner London Legal Aid Practice. I moved to Essex in 1989 to become the head of litigation at a medium sized commercial firm in Hornchurch where I remained until 1998 when I started my own business, McCorry Connolly Solicitors, in Romford. I undertook a wide variety of types of legal work ranging from business advice for small businesses and partnerships, employment advice, matrimonial work and financial claims especially in complex cases involving family businesses and work relating to children. Early this year McCorry Connolly merged with, Mullis & Peake. This is an exciting opportunity where I have become the Head of the Family Department. The newly formed family team at Mullis & Peake consists of three highly experienced fee earners and one trainee. I relish this new challenge to build the department and consolidate the market for our expertise within the area.
