My journey into higher education began with a keen interest in various disciplines within Liberal Arts. I made an informed decision to complete a Post Leaving Certificate course in Liberal Arts to hone in on the disciplines which I found most engaging and stimulating. Studying a multitude of subjects including English Literature, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Personal and Professional Development. On graduating from Rathmines College with a QQI Level 5 Award in Liberal Arts at Distinction level, my love of learning brought me to Maynooth University. Studying Sociology and International Development, along with electives in Economics and Community Education afforded me an opportunity to delve deeper into my fascination with how society, the economy and community work harmoniously, both in the national and global context. Never one to shy away from new experiences, my passion for working in a fast-passed, target driven and challenging enviornment naturally enticed me to my current career path working in a customer services role in Motor Insurance Services.
