Background
About Roland Renner
Activity overview: Support and implementation of Avaya systems (AURA, IP Office, Integral), currently at Bosch in Stuttgart as a system engineer for rollouts in the EMEA region. Main tasks include the configuration and commissioning of new UC locations for Bosch worldwide. Creating test plans and documents for handover to the 2nd level support is also part of my duties. At Bosch, I am also responsible for the rollouts of the mediation software (WorkplaceAttendant). This includes the complete handling from planning, configuration to training the end users. Connecting various SIP providers (BT, TELIA, VOX.) is part of my responsibilities. Additional activities are: system/session manager, Avaya Session Border Controller (ASBCE), as well as IP-DECT configurations. For Avaya, I was part of the FIFA technology team during the World Cup in Germany in 2005/2006. From 2008 to 2009, I was responsible for the technical support of business partners in the 'Team Avaya'.
