About Romain Raffoul
PhD student at the Free University of Brussels, I got my master degree in Biomedical Engineering in the same university. Currently working on the developement of a technology to treat obesity, a disease touching more than 14% of the world population, this position allows me to achieve tangible goals in addition of the develoment of my technical and soft skills. I am invested and passionate, with big interests in biomedical and soft robotics, embedded systems and the engineering field in general. Self-managing and volunteer, I want to learn more and develop new skills and am very attracted by multi-disciplinary fields and tackling challenging problems by providing innovative solutions.
