I was a professional taiko musician and teacher for nearly two decades and composed pieces that are now performed around the U.S and internationally. I still play taiko in my spare time and you might be able to catch me performing around the Bay Area with Taiko SOBA. I also play ukulele and yokobue (bamboo flute). In any other free time that remains, I enjoy fitness, reading, and spending time with my wife and cats.
