As an Area Safety Manager at Austin Commercial, I oversee the safety and health programs for multiple construction projects across the region, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations. I collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to identify and mitigate risks, conduct audits and inspections, and provide training and coaching to the field staff. I have successfully managed the safety aspects of several large-scale and complex projects, such as hospitals, airports, and stadiums, achieving zero lost-time accidents and reducing the injury rate by 35%. I am also pursuing a Master of Engineering in Construction Management at Louisiana State University, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
