About Romi Irawan

I'm Romi Irawan, a dedicated professional with over five years of experience in community empowerment efforts. For the first five years of my career as a Program Officer, I had the privilege of weaving my vision for community empowerment through various projects. I collaborated closely with rural communities in different regions, particularly in Central Kalimantan, planning, implementing, and monitoring environmental, healthcare, and education projects, including managing scholarship programs that successfully unlocked the potential of many individuals. As of 2025, I've had the special opportunity to join the Training and Capacity Building (TCB) Division. In this new role, my focus has broadened significantly. I'm responsible not only for internal staff capacity building within the organization but also for developing the capabilities of communities, government entities, and other stakeholders. This is a chance for me to apply and expand my expertise in designing and executing relevant and impactful training programs, ensuring knowledge and skills are effectively transferred to a wider audience. Previously, I also contributed to the world of social business as a consultant at Ruang Guru, where I focused on developing social business strategies to improve access to education. I bring a strong background in social work and possess a talent for graphic design, which I leverage to create effective and engaging visual communication materials for all our empowerment and training initiatives. I take pride in the awards and achievements I've earned throughout my career journey, and I'm always eager to be part of various initiatives aimed at creating positive change for communities. With my evolving background and experience, I'm confident in my ability to make a significant contribution to our foundation's vision and mission.
