I am proficient in- Handling and troubleshooting different ranges of fermenters from lab scale to production scale- Cultivating microalgae (in bench scale photobioreactors as well as in open raceway ponds), yeast and aerobic/anaerobic bacteria- Developing bioprocesses for Bioethanol, Biofuels, Algal Biomass production, Wastewater treatment, Pre-treatment of lignocellulosic biomass, Bio-enzymes, etc. I am capable of thriving independently, while also finding fulfillment in collaborative efforts within an enthusiastic and efficient team. Swift to comprehend novel ideas and concepts, and adept at devising inventive and creative problem-solving strategies. My principle objectives are: 1. Gaining expertise in technology related to biofuels such as bioethanol, biodiesel, biobutanol and biohydrogen. A cleaner and smarter way to achieve high microalgal biomass density in bench-scale photobioreactors as well as in open raceway ponds, coupled with facilitated self-flocculation by utilizing bicarbonate as a source of dissolved carbon dioxide. Integration of wastewater treatment with bioenergy generation. Employing various cost-effective and environment friendly pre-treatment strategies for lignocellulosic biomass and waste algal biomass for using it as feedstock for microbial fermentation for bioenergy generation. My specialties include: • Cultivation of microalgae, cyanobacteria, yeast, and aerobic/anaerobic bacteria. • Carbon dioxide capture, microalgal harvesting, and biodiesel production from microalgae. • Biofuels (bioethanol, biobutanol, biohydrogen, and biodiesel) production. • Bioreactor and Photobioreactor (Airlift, Bubble column, double jacketed, etc.) operations. • Raceway pond operations. • Operations of GC-TCD, GC-FID, HPLC, CHNS (O) analyzer, Spectrophotometer, PCR, SDS-PAGE, etc. • Microscopy techniques: SEM, AFM, Fluorescence. • Softwares: Matlab, Sigma, Origin. • Microalgal pigments extraction and quantification. • Operations of different type of bioreactors and fermenters up to L volume. • Carbohydrate extraction from lignocellulosic biomass and waste microalgal biomass for fermentation feedstock.
