About Romy Grace

I have worked in Australia at the intersection of corporate law, funds management and responsible investment since 2011. My background provides me with a broad perspective on a range of issues relating to funds management including capital raising, ESG integration and reporting and product development. In my role at MaxCap, I work in the Capital team focused on institutional capital raising as well as developing and implementing the firm's responsible investment strategy. I am a member of MaxCap's ESG Advisory Committee and work closely with the Product Development team on sustainable finance CRE product development. I am valued for my interpersonal and communication skills. I have demonstrated a strategic and lateral approach to solving complex transactional, reputational and operational issues whilst managing a range of stakeholders including advisors, investors and regulators. My extensive network spans beyond my professional experience due to active involvement in community and industry organisations in a voluntary leadership capacity. I believe in the power of capital markets to generate positive social and environmental impact for generations to come and I hope to contribute to the growth of a robust and sustainable investment industry in Australia.
