About Romy Post

In the summer of 2024, I graduated from the University of Groningen with a master's degree in Sustainable Entrepreneurship. This program is based on the belief that businesses should not only strive for profitability but must also prioritize their impact on people and the environment. I gained valuable insights into how sustainable businesses can succeed, how policies and context influence sustainability, and how barriers to sustainability can be overcome. Current topics such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) were also explored. I previously earned my bachelor's degree in International Business and Languages from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog, reading a good book, or listening to an interesting podcast. In de zomer van 2024 ben ik afgestudeerd aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, waar ik mijn master Sustainable Entrepreneurship heb behaald. Tijdens deze studie heb ik veel geleerd over hoe duurzame ondernemingen succesvol kunnen worden, hoe beleid en context verduurzaming beïnvloeden en hoe barrières op weg naar verduurzaming overwonnen kunnen worden. Ook actuele thema’s zoals de CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) zijn behandeld. Deze opleiding richt zich niet alleen op winstgevendheid voor bedrijven, maar juist op de bredere impact die bedrijven hebben op mens en milieu. Daarvoor behaalde ik mijn HBO-diploma International Business and Languages aan de Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim in Zwolle. In mijn vrije tijd geniet ik ervan om met mijn hond te wandelen, een goed boek te lezen of een interessante podcast te luisteren.
