About Ron Allred

I have been doing warehousing in various forms for the last 10 years. From I worked as a warehouse tech at Panduit in DeKalb picking/packing and shipping and receiving product for worldwide distribution. In that time, I also went back to school to get my degree in Electronics technology in hopes to eventually work towards a BS in Biomedical Electronics Technology. I left Panduit in 2004 to work towards more managerial type positions and started working for Apex Digital, a home service provider for DirecTv. I became the warehouse manager for the office in Gilberts, IL eventually moving up to managing the largest facility in the market at the time in Villa Park, IL. I soon was promoted to Area Logistics manager over the Gilberts, Villa Park, and Sugar Grove offices in IL along with control of the distribution, assigning, and monitoring of the company tools, fleet and radios until the company's departure from HSP service in 2006. I transitioned over with the rest of the company to DirectSat where I was moved to the warehouse manager of the Algonquin, IL office. From here I was not only responsible for the day to day routine of that office, but also was sent to do training of company best practices to sites in MN, KS, and Washington DC.
