About Ron Borgman

As a Senior Vice President of Sales Marketing, I'm accomplished in operations and transportation management. I've joined the DispatchTrack team with a demonstrated history working within the full spectrum of the logistics industry. My journey into the national home-delivery industry started 20 years ago as VP of Operations at Herman Miller for the Home. The product was quality, demand was high but getting it delivered was a different story, in simple terms, it was a disaster. As one bubble burst, another illuminated. It was evident to me that the lack of technology to manage the process of communication and delivery was the culprit. I could see the writing on the wall, the internet marketplace wave was coming, and the need to get over-dimensional products delivered to the home was going to be gargantuan. Encouraged I resigned and founded Lodeso; a logistics company focused on building a better delivery chain for large item home-delivery, also known as the last mile. With my two partners I grew the company into one of the most respected delivery organizations in the country and after 15 years, in 2016 sold Lodeso to Schneider National. Not content to sit out the next revolution from the sidelines, I found myself consulting with Satish, CEO of DispatchTrack so often that one day it just clicked. It was an easy decision to join the company and bring my skill set of knowledge and passion for the logistics industry to play full-time. Cut to the present, with big plans for the future.
