About Ron Calloway

How do you sum up one's life work. I guess you start with the usual educational background. I'm a college graduate who has worked in a wide variety of fields. I've worked for the railroad loading boxcars. I've been and am a professional photographer. I've worked at 7-11 as a manager. I've did military tours in Southeast Asia courtesy the United States government where I managed to get shot at. I've worked for Sears when it was called Sears & Roebucks as a reproduction professional; I operated huge press machines. I was promoted to Division Manager, overseeing 13 floors of duplicating equipment in the new Sears Tower. I'm a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do mainly getting into martial arts to develop a relationship with two growing boys. Most of my adult working life was spent in the Fire Service. I rose from the rank of blueshirt, firefighter/paramedic to Lieutenant before I retired in 2003. I went on to work at the Park District of Oak Park, Illinois where I was the Risk Manager for the District. Along the way I've become a Paramedic, American Heart CPR/First Aid Instructor, Licensed Playground Safety Inspector, Licensed Home Inspector, Licensed Insurance Agent, and most recently a Licensed Real Estate Professional. But aside from all this the two things I am most proud of is marring my beautiful wife Yvonne, raising two wonderful sons and giving my life over to Christ. He orders my steps and is the head of my house.
