About Ron Hariri

Ronald D. Hariri is a real estate and business litigator with over 40 years of experience and heads YK Law’s New York Litigation Department, part of a global network of over attorneys in over 150 offices. He has represented a diverse client base ranging from large commercial landlords and developers to small property owners, residential and commercial tenants, as well as closely held corporations and business ventures, as well as high net worth individuals. Mr. Hariri's Firm has served as a designated law firm for the Rent Stabilization Association’s Legal Plan (NYC’s largest trade association) since 1989. Mr. Hariri has served as representative of the real estate industry on the Housing Court Advisory Council and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trial Lawyers and Real Estate Sections, and previously on the Committees on Appellate Courts, the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where he was member of the Committee on State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction and Secretary of the Civil Court Committee and the Housing Court Committee. A life-long New Yorker, Mr. Hariri graduated magna cum laude from Columbia College and Columbia Law School, where he was editor of his Law Journal and clerked for SDNY District Judge Mary Johnson Lowe. He began his legal career at Finley, Kumble, Wagner, the second largest firm in the world. Mr. Hariri also has taught continuing legal education courses for NYCLA and RSA on the purchase of real estate and summary proceedings and writes frequently for real estate trade publications. He was born in Forest Hills, Queens, and currently resides in Manhattan and Eastern Long Island. Mr. Hariri is an experienced commercial litigator, who has appeared in both Federal and State Courts and mediations on a broad spectrum of matters including corporate and securities disputes, as well as estate, intellectual property and business litigation matters. Mr. Hariri has been honored by Premier Lawyers of America, Top Lawyers of North America and Lawyers of Distinction and is listed in Who’s Who of Business Leaders.
