About Ron Hill

I was grew up raising cattle and hay with my family. The love of ranching inspired me seek higher education at Colorado State University where I graduated with an BS in Animal Sciences. Along the way I became interested in the Fire Service. I joined a VFD and invested 20 years service retiring as a Fire Chief. After 30 years in the livestock business I attained employment with Larimer County Emergency Services as a Wildland Initial Attack supervisor/Fire Cache manager. Wildland firefighting has always been my first passion in the fire service During my 33 year tenure I traveled and operated as a Engine Supervisor and Type 2 Crew Supervisor on many fires here and across the country. A great opportunity was presented and I was able to gain employment with one of the top performing Fire Departments in the country, Loveland Fire & Rescue Authority. I joined Loveland Fire in 2006 as a career professional. This was always my goal as Loveland Fire Rescue Authority was instrumental in my early fire training as a VFD. I am a native of Loveland Colorado my entire life. My priorities in life are FAITH, FAMILY, VALUES & PURPOSE. I follow the path that God has intended for me. R. Hill
