Mainly "retired" now but always interested in anything new and challenging Has filled a range of senior and executive roles, including: CIO, CTO, Program Director and Country Manager. These roles have been in a wide range of organisations: Banks (UK, Australia and SE Asia), Telcos, IT Service Providers, System Integrators, Solution Providers etc. Experience of a wide range of solutions in the Retail and Wholesale space. Has been accountable for the delivery of both business and technology (Application and Infrastructure) projects, and has excelled in implementing effective Change Management and Project Management Methodologies. Has had departmental P&L responsibility and has been a valued member of a number of Executive Committees. Has managed teams in excess of one hundred professional personnel in complex, dynamic environments. Has extensive experience of building teams from zero and of developing positive team culture. Has multiple experience of taking a start up Payments Company from “conception” to successful implementation. Has provided Consultancy to multiple organisations on a range of topics, primarily Payments-related, e.g. Switch Establishment/Replacement, Technology selection, Payments Roadmaps and Architectures, PCI compliance, Fraud Prevention and Detection, Market and Technology Trends, etc. Has presented at industry conferences and has participated in industry working groups, both in the UK and Australia. Has represented overseas organisations in Australasia and made a significant contribution to their growth in the region.
