About Ron Killen

Currently I am employed a Special Education/Math teacher at Bradshaw Mountain High School in Prescott Valley teaching 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade Math. Prior to my professional teaching career, my teaching and instructional experience was from the Aerospace and Automotive Industries as well as various Church and Ministry Training organizations. I wrote professionally for approximately nine years. My writing was distributed world-wide and was composed is such a way as to be clear and understandable in many diverse cultures. I have also been a personal computer builder for over 20 years.I am a retired Engineering Senior Manager with 36 years’ experience focused on finding analytical solutions to complex problems (both abstractly and quantitatively) and communicating those solutions to other team members in an understandable manner. This skill has been very helpful during my years of teaching, lecturing and writing to various groups of professionals and non-professional students of all ages (adults and teens). However, this skill has been invaluable in my current position as a high school teacher. Communication between the Special Education department, the general education teacher, parents and students is critical to the success of the student.
