Background

About Ron Lalum

As a technical professional with a strong foundation in Senior QA Engineering, my focus lies at the intersection of ensuring software quality and building the tools to automate it. Specializing in complex UAV systems, I have increasingly oriented my work towards automation, developing and maintaining test scripts in Python using the pytest framework, alongside executing comprehensive manual and End-to-End testing. This hands-on technical role is built upon a solid foundation of leadership and systematic problem-solving gained during my extensive service in the IDF's Military Intelligence, where I advanced to the position of Head of a Network Operations Center (NOC). My holistic understanding of the software lifecycle is further enriched by a B.Sc. in Management Information Systems and, critically, a Full-Stack Web Developer certification from John Bryce.Leveraging my practical experience in Python, JavaScript, and SQL, my primary goal is to transition into a full-time Automation Developer or Software Developer role. I am eager to apply my unique perspective on software quality and my passion for building efficient, scalable solutions to a new challenge within a development-focused team, where I can contribute to the entire product lifecycle.
