About Ron Mann

I'm a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Occupational Health and Safety program, holding the Canadian Society of Safety Professionals (CHSC) designation. With over 20 years of experience in oil & gas, pipeline industries, I successfully bring both understanding and value to the Occupational Health and Safety Field. My objective is to continue to develop a challenging and rewarding career as a Health and Safety Professional. My passion for safety combined with experience working within the oil & gas industries gives me an effective edge in working towards zero injuries in the workplace. I have strong communication and relationship building skills, great organizational and collaboration skills, with a positive outlook and progressive approach to facilitating change, problem-solving and conflict resolution. My strengths include areas of leadership, emergency management risk management, contractor management, auditing, investigations, program development, training delivery, public speaking, and maintaining compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation. My background knowledge, skills and experience allow me to provide relevant guidance regarding compliance and risk management with areas such as operations, construction and general trade related/construction activities, toward proactive management of Health, Safety and Environmental systems. I enjoy working with people on results orientated teams, standing behind the philosophy that all injuries and accidents are preventable.
