About Ron Mayer
Five years ago, I started down a path to be part of the merger: artificial intelligence with the law. This coming spring, I graduate from law school. Having interned with several government prosecutors, my future appears to be in civil service once that future also hands me a passing bar score. During my time in school, I developed a modest portfolio of AI "projects" within the practice of law. CLE presentation. GPT criminal affidavit writer. Deep research legislative submission. 4th Amendment suppression response. And a scratching-of-the-surface with vibecoding on an agentic workflow. The last couple of months I have even brought a few practicing attorneys into the AI fold by showing them how to apply the tech to their particular set of challenges. With the Bar in July, I'll reassess and go from there. In the meantime, all of us need to put our chinstraps on!
