I am business professional with leadership expertise developed over 25 years of hands on experience in growing businesses from primary production, retailing, franchising, distribution, B2B / B2C through to technical sales. While being analytical and inquisitive, I communicate confidently and am a strategic thinker who sees the detail without losing sight of the big picture. Above all I'm friendly, perceptive about people with the ability to create a sense of shared commitment based around people coming first. I thrive on leading people and seeing them become successful. I have an optimistic outlook and can find a way to succeed in often difficult, chaotic environments, and I thrive in solution focussed enterprises. Having created businesses from the ground up as well as worked in Co-op, franchising, national and v.c funded operations, I have a balanced and mature outlook whilst still embracing and championing innovation and a growth mindset in quite diverse businesses.
