I worked for Ceres Unified School District, starting in the grounds department, then promoting to the building maintenance department, and finally promoting to the a maintenance specialist. Ultimately, I was interested in management and a wonderful opportunity came up in the City of Riverbank as the Supervisor of Parks and Facilities, two things I had experience in and really enjoyed. Since working in the public sector I have acquired all the certifications available to me, including being a certified facility locksmith, concrete field testing grade 1 certification, certified pool operator, Qualified Applicator Certificate for pesticides, and Certified Playground Safety Inspector.
