Honourable Rona Ambrose is the former Leader of Canada’s Official Opposition in the House of Commons. She’s a respectful leader who puts her team first and is always willing to roll up her sleeves to get the job done. Behind the hot cup of tea is a determined public policy expert who understands that government actions can have a real impact on families and businesses across the country. As a key member of the Harper Cabinet, she solved problems across nine government departments all while being named the most civil parliamentarian. Rona is focused on creating jobs, looking out for the middle class and making sure our economy grows so that Canada can continue to be the best place on earth to live, work and raise a family. She is a passionate advocate for women in Canada and around the world and led the global movement to create the “International Day of the Girl” at the United Nations. When she’s not working (which is rare), Rona is usually found with hiking boots making her way up to the summit.
