About Ronald Carroll

From my late teenage years, I wanted to work for a bank. Not that I was obsessed with working with money, but because I wanted to be home with my family for holidays and weekends. My banking career started when I took the first bank job opening that I came across after leaving college. Starting at the bottom didn’t concern me as I knew I had the drive and determination to move up. Fast forward 30 years and hindsight tells me that starting where I did was a blessing in disguise. It has given me a keen knowledge of financial and lending products. It allows me to express complex concepts in understandable terms to the new banking employee, the compliance or auditing officer, or to the most senior leader. Need someone to secure and translate business user requirements to a developer or vice versa? Sign me up. Need someone to take your words and “see” a solution for them? Again, sign me up. There is no greater sense of accomplishment for me than taking a user’s goal or idea and conceptualizing a solution to bring that to pass.In 2019 a prompting to finish my college degree was received, I had 30+ years of work experience since I last attended college, so why did I need to do that? 4 years later and I am still looking forward to finding the answer to that prompting. I do know that in July 2024 I will finish my degree in Applied Business Management with an Accounting emphasis and will celebrate with my family what drive and determination can help you accomplish.
