About Ronald Liburd

Ronald is an experienced Human Resources Specialist. He currently works as the Director of HR Business Partners directing the planning, review and execution of HR Strategies for NYCT & MTA-BusCo. Ronald aligns People Strategies with Agency Business Strategies while partnering with Agency Executive Leadership to provide guidance on all HR-related issues and needs, specifically Employee Engagement & Reasonable Accommodation. In his previous role, Ronald was the Director of HR-Employee Engagement & Workforce Relations where he was passionate, energetic, creative and committed toward the engagement of the MTA Workforce. He implemented with exceptional success several Engagement Programs that made numerous employees feel valuable. Additionally, while at the MTA-Department of Occupational Health Services; he managed three Medical Assessment Centers and ensured that the MTA was in compliance with Federal and State regulations applicable to Drug & Alcohol testing, & Fitness for Duty physical testing of all Safety Sensitive Employees. Ronald is results driven, a team player, organized, creative, an excellent motivator of colleagues/employees, and is exceptional at evaluating and prioritizing goals to achieve quality results. His additional strengths include multi-tasking and customer service. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Human Resources Management.
