Over 15 years experience building and managing multidisciplinary teams, and creating popular hardware and software products efficiently. I led the team that created the motion-sensing V-Beat products that peaked as the #1 best selling music toy of Amazon UK, the #1 best selling product on Firebox, and won awards, including Channel 4's The Gadget Show (UK). We sold units in the first three months, with a revenue of $3.5 million. My PhD research topic was Trust in Peer to Peer Networks, wrote several papers and presented at Peer to Peer conferences. I excel as a product manager and lead developer in collaborative teams working on complex, connected products, like Connected Smart Toys and Bluetooth LE connected peripherals with apps. I co-founded two hardware startups, and a web agency that was acquired. I worked with global teams across time zones, including two Contract Manufacturers in China. I am effectively trilingual in English, German, and Dutch.
