I am an Occupational Safety and Health professional and Security Specialist with over eight years of experience in safety management, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and security operations across military, federal, and civilian sectors. Currently serving as an Occupational Safety Specialist (GS) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, I ensure OSHA, Army Corps, and federal safety standards are met across dam operations, fish hatcheries, and environmental projects. I hold a master’s degree in Occupational Safety Management, a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a Secret Security Clearance, and certifications including ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, OSHA 30-Hour, 40-Hour HAZWOPER, and CompTIA Security+, with additional training from FEMA, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Defense. I have successfully developed and led safety programs, risk assessments, audits, and training initiatives, ensuring compliance and reducing incidents. At USACE, I oversee safety compliance for critical infrastructure and environmental operations, protecting assets valued at over 10 billion dollars and managing safety for a number of employees. My security expertise includes threat assessments, force protection operations, and countermeasure implementation, ensuring personnel, asset, and national security. I specialize in safety inspections, emergency response strategies, and continuous improvement, offering a holistic approach to workplace safety and security. With a proven ability to lead, enforce compliance, and enhance operational efficiency, I am committed to creating safer environments and delivering effective safety and security solutions in high-risk industries. I am actively seeking to relocate back to the Texas area, but I am also open to considering other locations that align with my professional goals.
