Employed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture from 1970-1997. First 4 years worked as a plant pest specialist. In 1974 began a gypsy moth parasitoid introduction program. In 1978 developed and managed a voluntary gypsy moth suppression program for infested counties. Retired in May of 1997 and began volunteering as an adjunct curator of microlepidoptera at A. J.
