About Ronald Reeser

Don’t just hear your clients; listen to them with intensity. This is my motto to fully understand the need my clients are communicating and then hone into what they are not communicating. Too many times clients’ needs go unspoken and unwritten, so it is up to me to find the real need to solve their problematic situation. As a career changer, Travel Industry to Information Technology, communication has become a key to my success. When I was a travel agent and asked the question – so you said you want to vacation on a beach in November? Most would expect the client to want a beach in the Caribbean or South Pacific. However, if your clients love is cetology, the studying and zoology of whales, dolphins and porpoises, then they will enjoy a beach located on the coast of Canada or Antarctica in November instead. Within the Information Technology field, communication is no less of an enjoyable challenge in finding a solution. For example, most clients want all the bells and whistles, yet even if within the budget, are all the bells and whistles required, needed and or will they even be used? And, will the additional bells and whistles constitute additional FTEs which are not in the new solutions budget and you just blew someone else’s budget? Daily, I hear my clients, read their body language and understand what is and not being communicated.
