About Ronald Rosenberg

I am the Associate Director of the Applied Engineering Science Program, which integrates basic engineering with business skills. I designed and teach the first of our three core AES courses: GLOBAL SYSTEMS (soph), SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS (jr), and CAPSTONE PROJECT (sr). Core courses build systems modeling and simulation skills and develop communication and teaming skills. I am also working on using digital technology to provide high-level online assessment tools for statics. Formerly I was Chairperson, Mechanical Engineering, then Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the College of Engineering at MSU. Specialties: I developed and teach GLOBAL SYSTEMS: Globalization for engineers - economics, engineering and the environment. I am knowledgeable about bond graphs as excellent tools for modeling and simulating complex engineering systems.
