About Ronan Padhye

I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at UT Austin and a National Merit Scholar with an interest in design, data science, and environmental applications.As a tutor at Mathnasium my greatest challenge was making breakthroughs in areas that students just didn’t understand. I was often required to explore new ways of thinking about math concepts to make them accessible to individual students. I was also responsible for determining where students were weak and what areas needed improvement before they could progress in their classes. This experience improved my creativity and problem solving abilities and required me to work as a team with other tutors to pinpoint students’ weak areas and effectively address them.I am familiar with Solidworks and Autodesk and have basic programming skills in java and matlab. I am seeking a summer internship to apply my skills and experience in a professional environment that focuses on the fields of data and environmental science.
