About Ronetta Hunter

From the start of my freshman year until senior year at Rider University, I've worked in the Office of Admissions. I started my freshman year as a student for a day coordinator. This included arranging schedules for prospective and admitted students. Coordinating appointments with prospective and current students based on intended majors and communicating with well over 20 Rider University faculty members for a variety of academic majors. Being a student for a day coordinator allowed me to answer any questions parents and students had about my experiences as a student and D1 athlete. Spring of 2016, I decided to switch over to becoming a campus tour guide for the Office of Admissions at Rider University. Given over 100+ tours to prospective, admitted and transfer students. Also, answered any questions parents and students had about my experiences and campus life at Rider as well as the history of the university. As I advanced into my senior year, I was promoted to senior fellow tour guide. Which included more complex tasks and incorporating more of a leadership role to the new and returning tour guides. After graduation in May of 2019, I started working as a Graduate Assistant for Auxiliary Services at Rider University. Taking on the responsibility of daily managing the Information Desk staff, including: hiring, training, and scheduling. As well as assisting with event management and oversight of the Bart Luedeke Center (BLC), which involves late nights and on-call responsibility. Graduated in 2021 with my MA in Athletic Leadership from Rider University. Received a full-time position working at Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy as a Patient Representative.
