About Rong Qi

Fourteen-year broad experiences in both private industry and public accounting firm with extended expertise in accounting, finance and general management area. Graduated from UCLA Anderson MBA program. I began my career in a Big Four public accounting firm in both China and US and developed my specialization in auditing, business consulting and risk management. My experience with PwC in SH and LA office working on MNCs enhanced my accounting knowledge as well as international business operation. Afterwards, I transferred to a public company in metal industry and worked across various functions, from General Manager of a subsidiary in China, to the Group Controller in charge of eight subsidiaries including both domestic and foreign entities. My work experience with Reliance offered me with hands-on experience on daily business operation and accounting and finance field, from there, I also built up industry expertise and achieved a good understanding of best global practice. I have a unique combination of strong financial analytical skills and general management skills. My experience as general manager and being responsible for the bottom line developed better understanding of numbers and reports and built up solid experience of managing and improving business operation. My work experiences in both big four and a 8 billion fortune 500 public company provides not only systematic training of Accounting knowledge and skills, but insights and hand-on experience and industry expertise as well. My international experience in Shanghai and Los Angeles and work experiences on managing both domestic and foreign subsidiaries enhanced my knowledge of different business practices and regulations, thus I developed a good understanding of the needs and issues of MNCs and was able to conduct productive team work in a multi-culture working environment.Specialties-US GAAP and IFRS -International business operation, espeically in Asia-Financial and Operational business processes. internal controls and best practice
