About Roni Silver

Many people—not just Millennials—want to work for organizations whose missions and values resonate with them intellectually and emotionally. Why? Because people who find their work to have meaningful, positive impact on society, defy conventional economic assumptions about self-interest and are inspired to do more and to do better. Throughout my career journey as Ontario public servent, initially as a co-op student at MCCSS and currently as an Information Management Administrator (IMA) at IT Source, I learned to appreciate the journey, not only the outcome – to stay committed to pursuing meaningful work that offers the unique opportunity to add societal value to the communities we serve. I also learned that we each hold the power to reform the exploitive business culture that has taken hold in the West by personifying the OPS set of values that call to champion inclusion, diversity, and respectful workplace relationships. As an IMA, my work is to provide the best and highest quality service to support our partners who in turn respond to the needs of Ontarians, while helping to foster the kind of environment that promotes growth at IT Source and that continues to attract, retain, and build skilled and diverse talent within the OPS.
