Hello and welcome friends. I am currently working toward an M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Atlantic University. I am doing my clinical internship at the LGBTQ+ Nonprofit, Sunserve in Fort Lauderdale, FL. At Sunserve we focus on treating various mental health conditions and offer a variety of community-based resources including gender-affirming care for gender-diverse individuals. We offer both individualized counseling and group therapy. Please reach out with any inquiries regarding services through Sunserve and I will direct accordingly. I am happy to help! I also work as a registered behavior therapist. I have experience working with visually-impaired neurodivergent children, children with oppositional defiance, and children with ADHD & ASD. Furthermore, I have a background in neuropsychological research using EEG. Clinical interests: complex trauma, suicide, self harm, LGBTQ, teens & young adults, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, behavioral therapies (particularly third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy; DBT & ACT), mindfulness practice, stoic philosophy & feminist psychology Looking forward to connecting with you!
