I moved from home care position to Holly Ridge in 1996, I started as Vocational Trainer and worked my way up into Program Coordinator position. Actually I was pulled up into position kicking & screaming by the Program Director and I can't thank her enough for seeing my potential and pushing me out of my comfort zone.Now I am the Program Director in the most innovative time in this new age of remote and distance contact, it has been challenging, but also exciting, to be on the front line of change and move toward more accessibility for the community I serve, opening doors we never thought possible.My time as Vocational Trainer/Community Coach has given me a firm understanding of what my team is facing or feeling and it helps me guide them and look at situations in new ways.I continue to learn and grow with Holly Ridge, the staff and clients we serve."Chin up and eyes forward" is one of the saying I live by, always looking toward the future to see what is on the horizon; not only do I plan for an upcoming change, I think to myself "What change can I make now to have a positive impact the future?""The man with no imagination has no wings" Muhamad Ali
