Background

About Ronnie Piechowski

I am a 2021 civil engineering graduate from Gonzaga University, where I gained experience in stormwater technology research and literature review, H&H report writing, watershed modeling, hydraulic bridge design, and BMP design. Prior to graduation, I worked as an environmental engineering research assistant at Gonzaga evaluating the effectiveness of biochar for removing dissolved phosphorus from stormwater. I passed the EIT exam in April 2021. While at Osborn Consulting, I have assisted with design report writing, data collection, alternatives analysis, research and compliance, retrofitting existing systems, conveyance design, and identifying project requirements. I have experience in modeling software such as PCSWMM, WWHM, FlowMaster, and QGIS. I also have experience presenting at conferences and working on education and outreach to raise awareness of common causes of stormwater pollution with communities. I easily adapt to a variety of projects, take initiative to learn new skills or gather information needed to complete a task/project, work independently to make progress on tasks, communicate clearly and positively with clients and team members, and engage with people at industry events. I am passionate about cultivating relationships with those around me and protecting water quality through the work I do.
