About Ronya Houchar

Highly motivated and empathetic undergraduate seeking a role in the social work field to apply my theoretical knowledge into practice and help aid individuals in the community achieve better mental, physical and emotional health. I am very passionate and dedicated with strong work ethics to ensure children, young people and families receive the best possible outcome and live a happy life. I would like to pursue my goal of becoming a social worker and find a workplace where I can show my potential and skills. I have had the opportunity to experience my university placement at the Department of Community and Justices. I have developed create casework skills, liaised with other service agencies and worked with people in and out of home care. I have also further my experience and skills in information provision, intake, assessment and referral of working with families in need of support services.
