About Roos Meerman

Aspiring health and medical psychologist with a background in (outdoor) sports. Through the past years of experience and education I have been able to look at the interesting connection between human body and mind from various perspectives. The interaction between the body and mind is something, I found never ceases to amaze. I strongly believe that people who invest in both, can accomplish things beyond anything they could ever imagine. To be truly in balance both in a physical and mental way, is a lifelong journey with no ending. My aim is to empower people and give them tools that will enhance this lifelong journey. Moreover, to teach them the autodidactic skills and give them the independence they will need to further explore the endless variety of possibilities. Ultimately resulting in a fulfilling life where one can be comfortable in their own skin and reach their true potential. At the moment my focus is mainly on developing lifestyle interventions and to work with e-health. Projects I work(ed) on in the past/ this year- I researched and developed a program for sedentary behaviour in students- Working on a ADHD lifestyle intervention- Writing my master thesis on the conditionability of the physiological markers of stress- An internship that brings Artificial Intelligence together with psychology and health.
