Throughout my bachelor study 'Future Planet Studies', my interest in sustainability has continued to grow. My current interests lay mainly with how companies are integrating sustainable business models. I believe this is particularly important. As Hoffman (2016) once said, “The market is the most powerful institution on earth, and corporations are the most powerful organizations within it. Without business, there will be no solutions.” To enhance my knowledge about sustainable businesses, I decided to follow the minor programme in ‘Sustainability: Management and Innovation’. Additionally, I gained practical experience in the field of sustainability through my internship and work period at Follow This. I worked at a packaging company named DaklaPack where I conducted research and gave advice on increasing the recyclability of flexible plastic products. Thereafter, I graduated from my master's Sustainable Business and Innovation at Utrecht University and started working full-time for Follow This.
