As you review my resume, you will find that my background has always dealt with people and have always incorporated building relationships. That's actually the foundation in everything I do. I consider myself an open thinker and life long learner who’s not afraid to speak up and speak out for our youth and community especially as it relates to education. I would also like to draw your attention to the following highlights of my qualifications: 22 years proven success in urban classrooms and working with the families of students in those Urban Classrooms. This past year with the Sanneh Foundation as a Dreamline Regional Director I’ve developed and lead training around recognizing bias, relationship building, listening without hearing words, not defining your students by their situation, and self-care. Having over 2 decades of experience as a behavioral specialist I’ve learned so much on what's missing in student engagement and student expectation! When I facilitate training I'm coming from real-life experiences, at ground level! Ability to break down difficult concepts and differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of child and adult learners. Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, training, and coaching skills in a variety of district and out of district events. My music background is a secret weapon for building relationships with our youth, community, and culture. Name a culture that doesn’t have music connected to it. I am an out of the box thinker and a life long learner. In addition, you will find me a results-focused team member and leader.
