I graduated my practical nursing program from Medicine Hat College in 2016 with honours and was the Governor General Award recipient. My career thus far has been primarily acute care, practicing to my full scope on a medical/surgical unit. I am committed to excellence and lifelong learning, and nearing completion of the post LPN-BN program at Athabasca University. I have managed excellent grades thus far in this self-directed program while also raising two boys. Recently, I have taken on a new role as an Instructor at MHC in the practical nurse program and am excited to grow my skills further in this new role!
